Salmon Fishing Scotland Catching Grilse.
Evie Glass with a nice Grilse from the tail of Horsey on the Pitlochrie beat at Stanley Perthshire Scotland. The Grilse run has started now but they have their heads down flying through the beats with just a flick of the tail! The run is about a month late. Let us hope it will be the start of a substantial run until the end of the season.

Salmon Fishing Scotland Grilse.
Andrew Gifford with a couple of Grilse caught on the fly in the Horsey Pool of the lower Tay at Stanley Perthshire Scotland. One Grilse was in good condition at 5lbs while the other one was only 1 1/2lbs in poor condition.
The prospects for fly fishing this coming week look good as a run of fish appears to be starting at look last and the weather looks like settling down. We have availability at the end of this coming week on Pitlochrie and Benchil plus the 2nd and 3rd weeks are available on Catholes and Luncarty. To check the current availability click on the beat names.
