Salmon Fishing Scotland Ice on the Tay, Perthshire, Scotland December 2010.

Salmon Fishing Scotland Ice on the Tay, Perthshire, Scotland December 2010.

The weather over the last few weeks has been extremely cold by our standards. The Tay water height has dropped down to summer levels which has dropped the flow in many areas. This has resulted in large areas freezing over and constant ice flows going down the river on a daily basis with temperatures never going above freezing level.
These are some Boxing day images from the Tay.
