Salmon Fishing Scotland River Tay, Perthshire, Scotland Salmon Season Opening 2013.

The big day has nearly arrived, one sleep to go! The conditions could not be better with much colder temperatures and good water levels. I am sure the river will produce some memorable spring salmon on the first day.
These were some picturesque scenes on the river at Stanley, Perthshire, Scotland today prior to tomorrows opening.
Stanley Mill on the famous Pitlochrie beat.

The Catholes just above Stanley.

The Wash House at Stanley.

The winter sun starts to go down over Horsey and looking down to Benchil.

Spring Salmon Fishing on the Tay can produce some magical moments. These are some over the last few years.
TIGHT LINES EVERYONE TOMORROW and ENJOY the EXPERIENCE.
