Salmon Fishing Scotland Autumn Salmon Fishing on the Tay September 2013.

Salmon Fishing Scotland Autumn Salmon Fishing on the Tay September 2013.

The salmon catches on the Tay in Perthshire, Scotland have increased this week with an improved run and cooler temperatures. The pending low at the weekend will hopefully improve it further.

Mark Proudfoot had never caught a salmon on the fly but today was his lucky day as a good fish took his cast fly in the Long Shot on Benchil.

A sea liced 8 pounds autumn salmon was his prize. well done Mark.

Cargill has had a good week landing several salmon. This was a lovely fresh salmon landed earlier in the week.

Steven Gamlen with a good salmon from the lower Cargill beat.

Andrew Wright with a superb sea liced salmon again off lower Cargill.
